Master's Level Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Ashley Bonhomme. I’m a master’s level psychotherapist working under the supervision of Keisha Reaves, LPC, PMH-C, CPCS. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Spelman College, and a master's degree in clinical counseling/psychology from Clayton State University.

I am certified in perinatal mental health counseling through Postpartum Support International and hold a certification in addictions counseling through the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia. I have had the privilege to serve as a perinatal doula for birthing people and families as they journey through what I consider to be the sacred work of birth and parenting. Both my personal experience as a mother, my professional background in birth work and behavioral health, informs my approach toward supporting mothers who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. My empathy and passion for helping clients who are navigating life’s changes has deepened over the last 13 years spent working in behavioral health in both community and residential settings. I am trained in multiple evidenced based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and trauma informed care. However, at the center of my therapeutic approach is a womanist perspective that honors the various intersecting (and sometimes competing) roles and identities of those who I serve. It is my mission to work collaboratively with you to support you in accessing and leveraging your inherent strengths as you embrace new and changing roles. Congratulations on your decision to prioritize yourself! It is my honor to join your team as you journey towards wellness.
